Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. This page converts them to JPG directly on your phone or computer, without sending anything to a server.
Drop HEIC files here

Your photos stay on your device.
Location and other private photo metadata are removed by default.
From an iPhone
Open this page in Safari, tap Choose files and pick Photo Library. Select the photos you want, tap Add, then tap Convert. Each finished file has its own Download link, which saves into Files or Photos depending on your settings.
iOS sometimes converts photos to JPG automatically when they are shared out of the Photos app. If the files you pick are already JPG, the converter will tell you they are not HEIC rather than converting them twice.
From a Mac or PC
Copy the photos off the phone first, then drop them onto the converter. Desktop browsers have more memory available, so large batches are more reliable there than on a phone.
Stopping the iPhone from making HEIC files
On the phone, open Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and choose Most Compatible. New photos will be saved as JPG. Existing HEIC photos are unaffected and still need converting.
