HEIC to PNG
Convert HEIC to PNG
PNG stores images without any additional compression loss, which makes it the right choice when a converted photo will be edited, annotated or archived.

PNG or JPG?
Choose PNG when the converted file will be edited further, placed into a design tool, or kept as a faithful copy of the decoded image. Choose JPG when you want a small file to share or upload.
PNG files from photographs are usually several times larger than the equivalent JPG. That is expected — PNG does not discard image detail, so there is no quality slider for it.
How the conversion works
Your browser decodes the HEIC container with a bundled WebAssembly build of the HEIF decoder, then re-encodes the pixels as PNG. No part of this touches a server.
Because PNG output is larger, converting very large batches on a phone can use a lot of memory. The converter limits how many images decode at once and releases memory as each file completes.
